Why you should focus on your audience rather than likes

Written by

How would you feel if after climbing the stairs of a 6 story building carrying your electrical equipment for a job and upon getting to the top you’re told you’re in the wrong building. What will you do?

That’s exactly what happens as a business owner when you focus on likes views and followers rather than having a marketing strategy. That’s what happens when you grow your business with the wrong audience.

No matter how amazing your content is, it will remain useless if you have the wrong audience.

Rather than focusing on likes and views, it’s important you identify your target audience first and decide how your content can best serve that audience.

Once you’ve identified your audience and how to serve them, you'll want to ask yourself- "How does this tie back to my business?"

While it's essential you write quality content to grow your audience, it won't help attract prospects if it doesn't tie back to your business.
